26th Pordenone Silent Film Festival

We're delighted and honoured to announce that "His Last Request" will be shown at the 26th Pordenone Silent Film Festival in Italy next month. Pordenone is the most important and prestigious silent film festival in the world and our film will rub shoulders with the likes of Griffith, René Clair and Pabst. The screenings will feature live piano accompaniment!

TeleMagik, a TV channel that broadcasts in and around Barcelona, will be showing His Last Request and Aceite Quemado throughout December. The channel reaches a geographical area of around 3 million people. Any other TV stations interested in broadcasting His Last Request are welcome to contact us.

Seduction in Slovenia

His Last Request has been selected for showing at the Ljubljana Gay & Lesbian Film Festival in Slovenia, a venerable festival that's been going for 22 years. The screening will be on Monday 4th December at 6.10pm in Kinodvor in Ljubljana. Now you know what Poslednja želja means.

I Festival Internacional de Cine Gai y Lésbicu D'Asturies

Oddly enough, we've been selected for showing at the 1st International Gay & Lesbian Film Festival of Asturias. The screening will be on Friday 28th July at 4pm. Details of the festival, for those who can read Bable (the eccentric regional language of Asturias) are on this blog.

UPDATE: The screening will take place at Centro de Cultura Antiguo Instituto, c/ Jovellanos, 21, Gijón.

Screenings at Circulo de Bellas Artes

His Last Request will be shown on the 28th and 29th of March 2006 at 4.30pm and 6.00pm together with two other shorts at the Circulo de Bellas Artes in Madrid.

Screening at Calle 54

"El Último Deseo" (His Last Request) will be shown on Tuesday 22nd November in Madrid at 6.50pm as part of the Maratón de Cortos de Calle 54. Free entrance, no reservation necessary (say the organizers).

It was postponed before, but now all seems set for the Marathon to take place this Thursday (19th January 2006), with His Last Request being shown at 7pm.

Calle 54 is a jazz nightclub / restaurant run by a group of film producers. The address is Paseo de la Habana - 3, Madrid. They have regular sessions of shorts and feature movies, well worth checking out. For more information write to clubamigos@calle54.net.

His Last Request will be shown at the festival IX Semana de Cine Fantástico y de Terror de Cáceres on the 27th of April at 8.30pm, together with the classic The Quatermass Experiment. Apparently the films are shown in a monastery! More details as we receive them.
